1998
Athesis was founded in 1998 as a trading company in Europe, operating between Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. In 2000, the company established its first contacts with Chinese suppliers, working via fax and laying the foundations for long-lasting collaborations.
With the arrival of email, commercial relationships with China grew stronger. Athesis began building its first internal databases with Microsoft Access and started to structure itself within the growing dietary supplements and import sector.

Athesis strengthened its customer relationships and developed new collaborations throughout the country, standing out in the market as a trusted partner specialized in tailor-made import solutions. This led to a significant increase in the number of product references and the need for new tools to manage and optimize the entire supply chain.
For years, a major internal transformation process had been underway. Since 2020, the digitalization and standardization of the entire system have become Athesis’ key strengths, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in managing over 500 products and 3000 variants.
