Categories and products
Our raw material categories
We work with four main product families that represent the foundation of most nutraceutical formulations.
Each category includes a wide variety of ingredients available in powders, non-standardised extracts and standardised extracts.
Categories and products
Traditional chinese medicinal mushrooms
Mushrooms are one of the most recognised categories in the nutraceutical sector, valued for their natural content of polysaccharides, beta-glucans and other bioactive compounds.
For centuries they have played a central role in traditional medicine, and today they are widely used to support the immune system, metabolism and overall well-being.
Among our most requested products are reishi, shiitake, agaricus, maitake, hericium, cordyceps, polyporus and auricularia — available in powder and standardised extracts with 30% polysaccharides.
The ancient allure of mushrooms in chinese culture
In ancient China, reishi was considered so powerful it was reserved for imperial use.
A symbol of longevity and health, it was so precious that it was worth more than gold. Emperors would send expeditions to find this rare fungus, a symbol of prosperity and wisdom.

Plants
Plants are one of the broadest and most versatile categories of nutraceutical raw materials, with hundreds of varieties grouped into botanical families such as medicinal, aromatic, adaptogenic and purifying plants.
Among our most requested ingredients are boswellia, green tea, ginger, turmeric, moringa, passiflora, vitex, black garlic, magnolia, horsetail and feverfew — selected for their quality, steady availability and reliability in nutraceutical production.
The legend of angelica sinensis
A noble Chinese family had a gravely ill daughter whom no doctor could cure, until a hermit monk gave her the roots of angelica sinensis, known as dong quai or “female ginseng”.
She drank a decoction prepared from these roots and fully recovered.
Since then, this plant has been used in traditional Chinese medicine as a precious remedy for women’s health.
Algae
Algae are a valuable category thanks to their high content of minerals, iodine and natural compounds such as phycocyanins and fucoxanthin. Widely used in nutraceutical formulations, they support metabolism, energy and cardiovascular health.
Among our most requested references are spirulina, chlorella, kelp, wakame and ecklonia, mostly available in powder form, and for some varieties as selected extracts.
Enzymes
Enzymes are a functional category of great importance for nutraceuticals, thanks to their ability to support digestion and improve nutrient absorption.
They are used in many formulations to support digestive and metabolic balance.
Among our most requested products are amylase, lipase and lactase, supplied with different enzyme activity levels depending on the application.
Kombu seaweed and the fishermen’s village
It is said that in ancient times, a travelling doctor discovered the healing properties of kombu while passing through a fishing village.
He noticed the villagers enjoyed exceptional health and longevity, and learned that they regularly consumed kombu.
They believed the seaweed was a gift from the sea gods, attributing to it the power to promote health and prevent disease.
